![]() I have since decided to just go back to stock to make it easier on me (this is my very first engine swap), and sell this engine to someone who can better use this motor. I bought this engine to replace the stock one that succumbed to excessive oil consumption, and I wanted performance gains in the new engine (160 crank HP and a reliable 7500 RPM were the conservative goals for this motor), but it lead me down a whole path of using an aftermarket ECU that ran afoul of my goodie two-shoes desire to be in full CA emissions compliance. Keep in mind most of the cost is in the long block. I'm happy to negotiate splitting the long block from the intake with any buyers, deciding where to split the parts, and adjusting pricing accordingly. Coolant outlet pipe (front left side of engine) with new seal.Rear coolant neck with new seals (I can provide a newer 2-pin CLT at no charge if desired).Front coolant neck with new seals, and new thermostat (thermostat passed the boiling water test).New OEM PCV valve, grommet seal, and hose.New OEM CAS and CPS sensors (01-05 style), with new pigtails.New OEM VICS solenoid with new vacuum hoses and new check valve (check valve orientation has been double-checked arrow on check valve points to throttle body).1999 JDM injector/CLT (3-pin)/ignition harness (should be compatible with NB chassis wiring - swap with NA injector harness for NA install).1999 JDM return-style fuel rail, FPR, and injectors (should be compatible with NA chassis fuel systems - swap with USDM NB fuel rail for USDM NB install).OEM oil cooler block, with new block seal and new large capacity oil filter.1999 JDM 2-piece intake manifold with new OEM manifold gasket.Coolant seals include Permatex Ultra Copper RTV applied thinly and evenly): Factory torque specs have been carefully followed where applicable. The engine has been dressed by me with the following items (used unless noted otherwise. ![]() ![]() ATI SuperDamper harmonic damper front crank pulley.ACL race main and connecting rod bearings.Heavy duty valve springs with titanium retainers.2.5 mm overbore, 11:1 compression forged Wiseco pistons (results in 1952 cc displacement). The engine uses stock 01-05 VVT engine components except for the following upgrades: The engine builder was responsible for all the internal work as well as sealing the oil pan, setting timing, installing timing covers, installing the front damper, and painting/installing the valve cover. The longblock was built by Trackspeed Engineering in late 2017. It includes the intake manifold, fuel rail w/ FPR, injectors, injector harness, and throttle body from a used 1999 JDM engine. This is a professionally rebuilt 2001-05 VVT engine with zero miles on it.
