![]() I do realize you already have a starting DQ8 file, but this would offer other benefits and of course for some that added caveat of legit rather than a save file, though it's not hard to copy-paste or vastly improve on what I have here with the save editor, and have it start right at the beginning of the game so you can still see the opening movie with Munchie popping out of the greenery.then the walk to town with the game logo and seagulls flying past. I'll try to upload each with a notepad file with the contents of each save to give an idea of what they contain. I may release a save modified version of my DQ7 saves to include the "story" based DLC maps, and to reduce the time stamp from the 80's or 90 hours to lower at a later date, but if so, I will notify that in a post in this thread, and also note that in the save data name and probably a notepad file. I will reiterate this point, as it's something I know certain players prefer: ALL Saves are legit. DQ8 also has a starting perfect save that's legit, and has some extras as I was fairly diligent with resetting every day for seeds after learning that was even possible in Week 3 when they were distributing stuff. I'm not sure if I want to upload all 3 of my DQ7 3DS save copies, but all 3 have a starting perfect save that's legit. So I thought I should attempt to rip my save files for once.I was planning on doing it ages ago but I wanted to perfect a certain save file. I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with me, but I've been posting on GameFAQs for a rather long time.Īnyhow, I noticed you guys have a database of 3DS saves. So what I'd like to know is if it's truly impossible, or simply impossible with the tools that currently exist to us, and a tool just hasn't been made yet? If it is "truly, technically impossible no matter what tool you make", then I'll accept that and just give up.Hi there. I'm not going to ask any of you to do this, but as long as it's possible someday, I can keep working at importing the US SHT model, to truly recreate the North American version, or at least add one more element to recreate the experience. ![]() I've already gone through the thread, and I know for a fact that someone already said that "it's impossible to insert a fully customized model to the 3DS version". I recently ripped the Super High Tension model from the US PS2 version of Dragon Quest, and I've been trying to recreate it to the specifications of the 3DS version. Now what I'm about to put forward isn't a complaint or an attack, just a question. ![]() Kudos to you all for the effort in undertaking it. The #s are just so friggin close to the same. Where you would use the Title ID.Īlso got me thinking maybe i should rename that 1 folder and put in the correct digit for the USA Title ID and hey maybe it will work on a USA cia copy of the game like i have. ![]() Just curious if anyone else noticed this? Was this a mistake? Was this intentional? Do the #s in the names of the folders even correspond to anything? You know, like when installing a Cheat plugin. Anyways the bottom one is the correct Title ID for the USA version of DQ8 HOWEVER, it's OFF by 1 digit. But inside the plugin folder i noticed there were 2 more folders that were named with what appeared to be Title ID #s. Well inside is the dq8res folder that they even say goes right on the root of your sd card. Did anyone else notice that inside that zip folder under the downloads section.
